Special Weather Statement National Weather Service Wilmington OH 940 AM EDT Fri Apr 18 2025 ...LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY AND GUSTY WINDS WILL CAUSE AN ELEVATED FIRE DANGER TODAY... The combination of warm temperatures and southerly winds gusting up to 30 MPH will allow for relative humidity percents to fall to the middle to upper 20s this afternoon. This results in an elevated fire danger throughout the afternoon and evening hours. Caution should be exercised to prevent fires. Be aware of the potential for grass fires that may quickly spread today. With the gusty winds, loose objects may be blown around and persons driving high profile vehicles should be cautious.
