URGENT - FIRE WEATHER MESSAGE National Weather Service Denver/Boulder CO 343 AM MDT Fri Apr 11 2025 ...FIRE WEATHER WATCH IN EFFECT FROM SATURDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH SATURDAY EVENING FOR WIND AND LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY FOR NORTHERN FOOTHILLS, DENVER METRO AND MORGAN COUNTY... The National Weather Service in Denver has issued a Fire Weather Watch for wind and low relative humidity, which is in effect from Saturday afternoon through Saturday evening. * AFFECTED AREA...Fire Weather Zones 215, 240 and 244. * TIMING...From Saturday afternoon through Saturday evening. * WINDS...West 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 40 mph. * RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 9 percent. * IMPACTS...Conditions will be favorable for rapid fire spread.
