Special Weather Statement National Weather Service Burlington VT 642 PM EDT Wed Apr 2 2025 ...Brief Interval of Freezing Rain Possible... Precautionary/Preparedness Actions... Temperatures are hovering just above the freezing point in parts of the St. Lawrence Valley. Precipitation will likely cool temperatures near to just below freezing. Radar and surface observations indicates an area of mixed precipitation lifting northeast. Brief sleet or freezing rain will be possible. Warm temperatures will likely limit ice accumulation to elevated surfaces like bridges or overpasses where a glaze of ice may develop before temperatures warm above freezing again overnight. Use extra caution traveling in ice-prone areas.
