Flood Advisory National Weather Service Chicago IL 1228 PM CDT Wed Apr 2 2025 ...FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 445 PM CDT THIS AFTERNOON... * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...A portion of northeast Illinois, including the following counties, Cook and Will. * WHEN...Until 445 PM CDT. * IMPACTS...Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Underpasses may be flooded. Roads and streets may be flooded. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1224 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated that heavy rainfall had moved out of the area with only light shower activity ongoing. Minor flooding will likely continue for the next few hours. Up to 2 inches of rainfall occurred due to earlier shower and storm activity. - Additional shower and thunderstorm activity remains possible into the afternoon. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
