URGENT - WINTER WEATHER MESSAGE National Weather Service Reno NV 205 AM PDT Mon Mar 31 2025 ...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 11 PM PDT TUESDAY MONO COUNTY ABOVE 8000 FEET... * WHAT...Snow above 8000 Feet. Snow accumulations between 10 to 18 inches and up to 2 feet possible in the highest elevations. Ridge winds gusting as high as 90 mph. Southwest winds gusting up to 55 mph in wind prone areas along U.S. Highway 395. * WHERE...Mono County. * WHEN...Until 11 PM PDT Tuesday. * IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult to impossible. The hazardous conditions could impact the Monday morning and evening commutes. Blowing snow could cause reduced visibilities. Very strong winds could cause extensive damage to trees and power lines.
