URGENT - WEATHER MESSAGE National Weather Service Albuquerque NM 121 PM MDT Wed Mar 12 2025 ...HIGH WIND WARNING IN EFFECT FROM MIDNIGHT THURSDAY NIGHT TO 6 PM MDT FRIDAY... * WHAT...West winds 35 to 50 mph with gusts up to 75 mph expected. * WHERE...Portions of central, east central, north central, northeast, and southeast New Mexico. * WHEN...From midnight Thursday Night to 6 PM MDT Friday. * IMPACTS...Damaging winds will blow down trees and power lines. Widespread power outages are expected. Travel will be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Areas of blowing dust will reduce visibility and cause hazardous travel conditions.
