The next statement will be issued by this afternoon at 100 PM CST. && ...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL EARLY TUESDAY AFTERNOON... * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Barren River at Bowling Green. * WHEN...Until early Tuesday afternoon. * IMPACTS...At 23.0 feet, Parks begin to flood. Most of Thomas Landing and Weldon Peete Park flood. At 30.0 feet, Boat Landing Road is impassable. At 34.0 feet, Most of Beech Bend Park floods. At 36.0 feet, Several homes along river begin to flood. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 2:45 AM CST Sunday the stage was 31.1 feet. - Bankfull stage is 25.0 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 2:45 AM CST Sunday was 31.1 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 40.0 feet just after midnight tonight.
