.Light snow showers will continue through the weekend, but high snow levels generally above 4000 feet will limit impacts to only the highest mountains of Trinity County. A cold front Monday will bring a second pulse of snow but also quickly drop snow levels. Snow levels will most likely drop as low as 2000 feet by early Tuesday, especially for the northern half of the area. Heavy snow should be expected in sporadic pulses along highway passes through the week.
