Special Weather Statement National Weather Service Juneau AK 255 PM AKST Wed Jan 29 2025 ...VERY COLD TEMPERATURES BEGINNING THIS WEEKEND... A large pattern change will begin this Thursday and continue through the weekend. For both Friday and Saturday night, low temperatures near sea level in the northern half of the panhandle have an 80% chance of being below 10 degrees with a 20% chance of being below zero. For the southern half of the panhandle, low temperatures near sea level have an 80% chance of being below 20 degrees.
