URGENT - WINTER WEATHER MESSAGE National Weather Service Great Falls MT 119 PM MST Mon Jan 20 2025 ...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 2 AM TO 5 PM MST TUESDAY... ...WINTER STORM WATCH IN EFFECT FROM TUESDAY EVENING THROUGH WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON... * WHAT...For the Winter Weather Advisory, blowing snow expected. Winds gusting as high as 50 mph. For the Winter Storm Watch, heavy snow possible. Total snow accumulations between 10 and 15 inches possible. Winds could gust as high as 45 mph. * WHERE...Snowy and Judith Mountains. * WHEN...For the Winter Weather Advisory, from 2 AM to 5 PM MST Tuesday. For the Winter Storm Watch, from Tuesday evening through Wednesday afternoon. * IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will likely become slick and hazardous. Widespread blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Slow down and use caution while traveling. The latest road conditions can be obtained by calling 5 1 1 or visiting the MDT Road Report website. Remember, a Winter Storm Watch means that there is at least a 50% chance of impactful winter weather conditions during the watch period.
