URGENT - WEATHER MESSAGE National Weather Service Pittsburgh PA 153 PM EST Sun Jan 19 2025 ...COLD WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 1 AM MONDAY TO 1 PM EST WEDNESDAY... * WHAT...Very cold wind chills as low as 22 below zero expected. * WHERE...Portions of east central Ohio, northwest, southwest, and western Pennsylvania, and northern and the northern panhandle of West Virginia. * WHEN...From 1 AM Monday to 1 PM EST Wednesday. * IMPACTS...The dangerously cold wind chills as low as 19 below zero could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes. Wind chill values can lead to hypothermia with prolonged exposure. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Use caution while traveling outside. Wear appropriate clothing, a hat, and gloves. Keep pets indoors as much as possible.
