URGENT - WINTER WEATHER MESSAGE National Weather Service Buffalo NY 1211 PM EST Thu Jan 16 2025 ...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 AM EST FRIDAY... * WHAT...Snow. Additional snow accumulations of 3 to 5 inches. * WHERE...Chautauqua, Cattaraugus, and Southern Erie Counties. The greatest accumulations will focus along the Chautauqua Ridge and Boston Hills. * WHEN...Until 7 AM EST Friday. The majority of the snow accumulations will be from late this afternoon through the first half of tonight. * IMPACTS...Plan on snow covered and slippery road conditions with reduced visibility. The hazardous conditions will impact the Thursday evening and Friday morning commutes. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
