URGENT - WEATHER MESSAGE National Weather Service Duluth MN 656 PM CST Sat Jan 4 2025 ...COLD WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM MIDNIGHT TONIGHT TO 10 AM CST SUNDAY... * WHAT...Very cold wind chills as low as 32 below zero expected. * WHERE...In Minnesota, Koochiching, North Itasca, South Itasca, Carlton and South St. Louis, Central St. Louis, North St. Louis, and Southern Lake Counties. In Wisconsin, Douglas County. This includes the Tribal Lands of the Fond du Lac Band and the Bois Forte Band, Deer Creek, Lake Vermilion and, Nett Lake areas. Recreation spots such as Voyageurs National Park. This also includes the Boundary Waters western area. * WHEN...From midnight tonight to 10 AM CST Sunday. * IMPACTS...The dangerously cold wind chills as low as 30 below zero could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 10 minutes.
