URGENT - WINTER WEATHER MESSAGE National Weather Service Dodge City KS 614 PM CST Sat Jan 4 2025 ...WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 PM CST SUNDAY... * WHAT...Freezing drizzle transitioning to snow late tonight. Snow accumulations between 2 and 5 inches. * WHERE...Finney, Gray, Lane, Scott, and Trego Counties. * WHEN...Until 6 PM CST Sunday. * IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will likely become slick and hazardous. Visibilities may drop below 1/4 mile at times due to falling and blowing snow. Near-whiteout conditions are expected and will make travel treacherous and potentially life-threatening. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Persons should consider delaying all travel. Motorists should use extreme caution if travel is absolutely necessary.
