URGENT - WINTER WEATHER MESSAGE National Weather Service Pittsburgh PA 818 PM EST Tue Dec 31 2024 ...WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 1 AM WEDNESDAY TO 4 AM EST THURSDAY... * WHAT...Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 4 and 9 inches. Winds gusting as high as 50 mph. * WHERE...Eastern Preston, Eastern Tucker, and Western Tucker Counties. * WHEN...From 1 AM Wednesday to 4 AM EST Thursday. * IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will likely become slick and hazardous. Travel could be very difficult. The hazardous conditions could impact the Wednesday morning and evening commutes. Gusty winds could bring down tree branches. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
