URGENT - WEATHER MESSAGE National Weather Service Seattle WA 350 AM PST Thu Dec 26 2024 ...WIND ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 1 PM PST THIS AFTERNOON... * WHAT...Southwest winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 55 mph. * WHERE...Hood Canal Area, Bellevue and Vicinity, Bremerton and Vicinity, East Puget Sound Lowlands, Everett and Vicinity, Lower Chehalis Valley Area, Seattle and Vicinity, Southwest Interior, and Tacoma Area. * WHEN...Until 1 PM PST this afternoon. * IMPACTS...Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The quick increase in the wind speeds as well as a rapid change in direction could increase the chances for downed trees and power outages.
