URGENT - WINTER WEATHER MESSAGE National Weather Service Grand Forks ND 1233 PM CST Tue Dec 3 2024 ...WINTER STORM WATCH IN EFFECT FROM 10 PM CST THIS EVENING THROUGH WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON... * WHAT...Blizzard conditions possible. Total snow accumulations up to one inch and a glaze of ice possible through Wednesday morning. Winds could gust as high as 50 mph. * WHERE...Portions of northwest and west central Minnesota and northeast and southeast North Dakota. * WHEN...From 10 PM CST this evening through Wednesday afternoon. * IMPACTS...Whiteout conditions are possible and may make travel treacherous and potentially life-threatening. Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the Wednesday morning and evening commutes. Gusty winds could bring down tree branches. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
