URGENT - WEATHER MESSAGE National Weather Service Medford OR 234 PM PST Thu Nov 21 2024 ...HIGH WIND WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 10 PM THIS EVENING TO 4 PM PST FRIDAY... * WHAT...South winds 25 to 40 mph with gusts up to 65 mph possible. The strongest gusts will be along the beaches, headlands and higher coastal terrain. * WHERE...Curry County Coast and South Central Oregon Coast, including Highway 101 from Brookings to Reedsport. * WHEN...From 10 PM this evening to 4 PM PST Friday. * IMPACTS...Damaging winds will blow down trees and power lines. Widespread power outages are expected. Travel will be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
