Total snow accumulations of 6 to 12 inches, with locally 12 to 18 inches along the ridgetops. Winds gusting as high as 40 mph Friday afternoon into Friday night. * WHERE...Garrett County. * WHEN...From 10 AM this morning to midnight EST Friday Night. * IMPACTS...Visibilities may drop below 1/4 mile at times due to falling and blowing snow. Whiteout conditions are expected and will make travel treacherous and potentially life-threatening.
