The combination of prolong dry weather, northwest winds 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph across western-central Massachusetts, minimum relative humidities from 35 to 45 percent combined with dry fallen leaves, will contribute to elevated fire weather concerns Monday across Massachusetts. Obey fire bans, keep vehicles off dry grass and use extra caution if handling any potential ignition sources.
