Limited overnight relief with low temperatures in the upper 60s to mid 80s. Widespread Major to Extreme HeatRisk is expected. * WHERE...Carquinez Strait and Delta, Motherlode, Mountains Southwestern Shasta County to Western Colusa County, Northeast Foothills, Sacramento Valley, Northern San Joaquin Valley, Shasta Lake Area / Northern Shasta County. * WHEN...Until 11 PM PDT Tuesday. * IMPACTS...Heat related illnesses increase significantly during extreme heat events, particularly for those working or participating in outdoor activities. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Heat could significantly impact outdoor holiday activities.
