Harris County in southeastern Texas... * Until 300 AM CST. * At 118 AM CST, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 3 and 5 inches of rain have fallen across portions of the warned area. The expected rainfall rate is 1 to 2 inches in 30 minutes. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. The Houston Fire Department reports multiple active water rescues on flooded roadways in the warned area. Avoid travel and remain in shelter. HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding.
