Coastal Hazard Message National Weather Service Mount Holly NJ 349 PM EDT Thu Sep 26 2024 ...COASTAL FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 11 PM EDT THIS EVENING... * WHAT...Up to one half foot of inundation above ground level in low-lying areas near shorelines and tidal waterways. * WHERE...Ocean. * WHEN...Until 11 PM EDT this evening. * IMPACTS...Flooding of lots, parks, and roads with only isolated road closures expected. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The Coastal Flood Advisory remains in effect through this afternoon's high tide cycle mainly for tidal flooding in the back bays of Barnegat Bay. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may be closed. Do not drive around barricades or through water of unknown depth.
