URGENT - WINTER WEATHER MESSAGE National Weather Service Great Falls MT 802 PM MDT Tue May 7 2024 ...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL NOON MDT WEDNESDAY... * WHAT...Wet snow expected. Total snow accumulations 2 to 5 inches, with isolated higher amounts possible along the Belt to Geyser corridor and in the Lewistown area. Winds gusting as high as 70 mph. * WHERE...Cascade County below 5000ft, Fergus County below 4500ft, and Judith Basin County and Judith Gap. * WHEN...Until noon MDT Wednesday. * IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. Periods of blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. The combination of wet snow and strong winds could cause damage to trees and power lines. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
