URGENT - WINTER WEATHER MESSAGE National Weather Service Riverton WY 701 PM MDT Tue May 7 2024 ...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL NOON MDT WEDNESDAY... * WHAT...Snow. Additional snow accumulations of 2 to 4 inches. Higher totals of 4 to 6 inches in the higher terrain along the eastern boundary of Yellowstone. Northwest wind 15 to 25 mph. * WHERE...Yellowstone National Park. * WHEN...Until noon MDT Wednesday. * IMPACTS...Travel on paved roads could be slick and snow- covered at times. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...After a brief lull in the snow Tuesday evening, another surge of snow arrives from the north toward midnight and continues through Wednesday morning.
